CGA on the run

CENTRAL Gauteng Athletics are on track for the 2017 Track and Field season, starting with their first meeting on January 14, while the second meeting will be at Germiston Stadium on Saturday January 21.

The season’s return has been eagerly awaited by athletes and coaches, who are seen delivering exceptional performances yearly. The meetings will follow a full day programme, that will allow track and field athletes of all ages to participate. CGA is looking forward to a great turn out in numbers, seeing that it’s the first track and field event of the year.

Athletes will seek to build up towards their selection for the different championships, to represent this province at the South Africa championships and ultimately their couintry, at various international championships such as the 2017 World Championships, to be held in London later this year.
