Waterstone scoops 9 medals for swimming

WELL DONE: Leah White (one gold medal), Tatum White (one gold medal), Connor Wilken (one gold medal), Chante Rademan (two gold medals) and Thomas Woodhead (three gold medals and one bronze medal). Thomas Woodhead broke the U15 50m backstroke prestige record.

THE Waterstone College high school swimming team made a huge splash at the Prestige Gala on Saturday, March 4 as 23 swimmers qualified to swim at the event, bringing home a total of eight gold medals and one bronze medal.

WINNER: Thomas Woodhead, who recently took part in the national swimming gala, came second in the 50m backstroke and freestyle.

Waterstone College is proud to announce that one of its own, Thomas Woodhead, broke the Prestige record for the U15 50m freestyle with a time of 25:96 seconds!
