Help the Hindu Cultural Society keep others warm

ASSIST: The SSHCS urges the community to donate generously to this worthy cause to assist those in need this winter.

THE Southern Suburbs Hindu Cultural Society (SSHCS) is once again embarking on its Annual Winter Collection Drive to help local charities and organisations in need.

For many years, SSHCS has brought joy and hope to many people’s lives through their charitable initiatives and they plan to continue to help those in dire need this winter with the collection drive, which ends on May 31.

According to the SSHCS, donations from the community have enabled them to extend help to many more organisations, but donations are always welcome, such as blankets, old and new clothes, groceries, cash donations or any other usable items.

Among the beneficiaries of the collection are The Love of Christ Ministries, Adishankara Ashram (Winchester Hills), The Salvation Army, Ramakrishna Centre, Johannesburg Children’s Home and Lenasia Old Age Home.
