Walk for the Epic Foundation

WALK: Help the Epic Foundation raise funds for projects and initiatives to support survivors of rape and abuse. There will be 50 000 walkers taking to the streets on the Sunday with three distances to be walked - 15km, 8km and 5km.

JOIN the Epic Foundation team this year as they raise funds for upcoming projects and initiatives by walking the MTN Walk the Talk on July 23, at Marks Park Sports Club.

The Epic Foundation manages various project and initiatives aimed at assisting victims of rape and abuse.

There will be 50 000 walkers taking to the streets that day with three distances to be walked – 15km, 8km and 5km.

To assist the foundation with fund-raising, the entry fee to join Epic Foundation’s team is R50 per person for the five to eight kilometres and R300 per person for the 15km (fee includes a T-shirt and other items from Epic Foundation).

You are welcome to increase your entry fee, provided the minimum is as stated above, and this will then be an additional donation. You can get corporates, family and friends to sponsor you per kilometre, in addition to the entry fee.

Deadline for registration to the team is May 25 and the final payment is to be made by Epic Foundation to the walk organisers by May 26. If you have already entered the Walk the Talk, unfortunately the organisers cannot refund you so that Epic Foundation can benefit.
