“NEVER give up on giving,” were the words of the well-known South African radio and television personality Jeremy Mansfield, also known as “The Big Man”, during a breakfast brunch at Alberton High School, on May 12.

SPONSORS: Boston City Campus sponsored some of the goodies in the gift bags. From left: Andolyn Botha (Boston City Campus ), Carol Roberts (Alberton High School) and Phumi Muraga (Boston City Campus).

“The children sitting at your tables are the future of the country. We must start creating a safety net so that they can have the opportunity to live their lives to the fullest and to extend themselves,” Jeremy said.

FUN EVENT: Jeremy Mansfield and Angelique Swanepoel (advertising consultant, Get It South).

He entertained the audience with the voices of Nelson Mandela and FW de Klerk and, for the older folk, used the well-known voice of Frikkie. He also shared some interesting stories from his career as a radio presenter.

LEARNERS: Alberton High School’s learners were sure to impress with their delicious brunch buffet. Ready to welcome guests are Amy Davis, Nikki Familiar and Samantha Myberg.

After his talk, everyone enjoyed a tasty breakfast buffet, which was prepared by Alberton High learners.

LOCAL IS ‘LEKKER’: Tersia Burger (CEO of Stepping Stone Hospice), Jeremy Mansfield (speaker) and Marietjie Tame (marketing and fund-raising manager).

This was the second annual corporate brunch held at the school and, again, an ideal opportunity for businesses to network.
