EMM presents women with bursaries in waste management

As the National Women’s Month commemorations draw to a close, the City of Ekurhuleni is awarding study bursaries to female employees in the Waste Management Services Department. The award ceremony will take place at 9am on August 26 at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg (14 View Point Rd, Bartlett AH, Boksburg).

Ekurhuleni’s Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Environment and Waste Management Services, Clr Ndosi Shongwe is expected to encourage female employees to study further in order to contribute meaningfully in the area of waste management.

According to Shongwe this opportunity will increase day-to-day efficiency of the department, skills base and will instill a professional working environment.
