Debonairs business robbery at Mall of the South

ACCORDING to Hester Smith, Mall of the South centre manager, a business robbery took place at Debonairs on Monday, December 4, at 8.57am.

“The weekend takings were lying on the counter and the roller shutter door was open. Four suspects entered the store, took the money and ran off. The mall’s security was notified only at 9.01am after the suspects had fled the mall.

“The suspects were not armed and no injuries were sustained during the robbery. The South African Police Service (SAPS) is further investigating the incident. Kindly note that there is no disruption in the mall and it is trading as normal.”
