Countdown to Mrs World

REPRESENTING: Nicole Capper will be representing South Africa as well as Johannesburg at the Mrs World pageant at Emperor’s Palace.

THE City of Ekurhuleni in conjunction with Mrs South Africa (Pty) Ltd received the exclusive rights to host the prestigious Mrs World finals on December 16 at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg.

The breathtaking Nicole Capper (32), who was crowned Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa on November 17, will be competing for the title on home ground at the prestigious international event as one of 40 of the world’s most beautiful married women.

Mrs Capper from Broadacres, Johannesburg is a mom of two children, a businesswoman and a functional medicinal pharmacist who is passionate about health, wellness and preventative medicine.

“I was born and bred in Johannesburg and I am passionate about my city,” she said. “I do not only get to represent South Africa but Johannesburg at Mrs World. I look forward to wearing my South African colours and showcasing the true heart of South African women to the world. I look forward to making our country proud by bringing home the crown.”

Mrs South Africa Pty Ltd has had a record-breaking history on the international stage. Candice Abrahams, who was crowned Mrs South Africa in 2015, was the first South African to be crowned Mrs World.

Mrs World is the largest and longest-running pageant for married women worldwide. Over the years, the competition has been produced in many fascinating locations around the world.

“To host Mrs World Inc. in South Africa has always been a professional goal of mine,” says Mrs South Africa CEO Joani Johnson. “Having had Candice Abrahams win Mrs World in 2016 was a highlight for the company, and for us to bring the world to South Africa is a dream come true.”
