DYLAN Jacobs, a Grade 11 learner at Alberton High School, donated two wheelchairs to Broken Wings Association for Adults with Disabilities.
Dylan has been collecting bottle tops and bread tags since he was in Grade Eight, which he then gives to recycling companies in exchange for wheelchairs. His goal for his high school career is to donate 10 wheelchairs through his efforts.
“Broken Wings would like to say a very big thank you to Dylan, as well as the school and community that support his collections,” said Sheryl Swanepoel of Broken Wings.
