Vox Pop: Should more people get involved with CPF and community watches?

BUKIWE PHOKU: “It is a good thing to join. It will bring us together as neighbours and we can talk to each other to notice and report crime early.”

THE RECORD asked residents of Alberton if they think more people should get involved with CPF and community watches.

THABO KHAKA: “I think joining is going to reduce crime. We must be the eyes and ears of the police.”

CHRISTINE AVIAN: “I think more people should get involved. Reporting crimes help but people need to get involved to prevent crime.”

NJABULO MABASO: “It’s a good thing to prevent crime. It gives people a place to go to report crimes and speak to police about it.”

AMBROSE MAKGOKA: “I think it is important to work together as a community and therefore joining the CPF and community groups is a good thing.”
